Scheduling of Camps

Scheduling Information
1. There are currently 12 stakes in the Camp Timberlane organization.
2. There are 4 main camp grounds that are scheduled for the 11 prime weeks of each summer. Prime weeks are usually from the middle of June to the third week in August. The camp is actually open for 13 weeks. Balsam Fir and Aspen Grove are not part of this scheduling.
3. The purpose of this scheduling is to provide each Stake Young Women's organization a different camp ground at a different week each year. Since there are 12 stakes and 11 prime weeks one stake in each camp ground will be left out during the September 1 to December 1 scheduling time. Each year the stakes are rotated in each of the camp grounds and a different stake will be left out.
4. The Stake scheduling shown at the top of each camp ground is for the Young Women's organizations ONLY and applies from September 1 to December 1. Most stakes will have a pre-scheduled time in each of the 4 camp grounds so ward Y/W rough camps could also schedule their time if the stake Y/W does not. Just be aware that each stake can only schedule 4 camp grounds until the first of June.
No other organization can schedule their stake's time until after December 1. Remember that just because your stake is shown on the schedule does NOT mean it is reserved. If you want to use your scheduled time then you must submit a reservation form. If you want to trade times with another stake have your High Councilor in charge of Camp Timberlane work through his counterpart in the other stakes. If a change is made then be sure the administrator is notified via email. If you fail to reserve your Y/W's rough camp by December 1 you may have difficulty finding another open time.
5. After December 1 then all stake names on the camp grounds that have not yet been reserved will be removed and replaced with an "open" designation. All organizations and families from within the Camp Timberlane stakes can now reserve any camp ground that has not already been reserved. Only Y/W groups from stakes outside the Camp Timberlane organization may now schedule their rough camps through the rental program. The camp is not available for families, wards etc. not part of the Camp Timberlane organization.
6. If you reserve a camp and then later decide not to use it please submit another reservation form with the cancel box checked. Someone else may now want to use the open campground. Depending on the available open camps at the time there may be a cancellation fee charged to your organization if you fail to send in a cancellation form.
7. Stakes are limited to a maximum of 4 reserved camp grounds until June 1. This ensures all stakes have an opportunity to use Camp Timberlane.
Rental Information
Stakes outside the Camp Timberlane organization may rent camp sites only for their Y/W rough camps. Other outside organizations cannot schedule camps. Camps are reserved by the week and the cost is dependent on the number using the camp. The current rental costs per week are:
